Support Engineer (SQL and Unix) (Permanent)

Location: Wiltshire Country: UK Rate: £25k - 28k per annum, Benefits: + benefits
 
Support Engineer (SQL & Unix) Wiltshire from £25k - £28k plus benefits

We are looking for a Support Engineer to Build, implement & maintain products & services for clients.

You will be using the features & functionality of the platform & supporting architecture. You will be responsible for the configuration & delivery of new products and maintenance of existing products in line with clients' requirements and expectations.

Key Tasks:-
  • Refine, Estimate, Build and Implement test and support
  • New Client and Products on platforms
  • Client set ups
  • Write change procedures for deploying to Production
Technical skills:-
  • Scripting Shell/SQL
  • Unix
  • Ideally Oracle
  • Agile Methodology
You will need one years' plus experience in a technical IT capacity which could be testing, support or programming with good database concepts, web Architecture, XML handling, development and test-life cycle.

Your experience will include SQL database and complex SQL queries with strong systems and requirements analysis. Unix also required.
