UX Designer (Contract)

Location: Belfast Country: UK Rate: £500 - £600 per day
 

A leading investment bank is looking for a UX Designer to join their team on an initial 9-month contract. Paying up to £600 per day you will be working out of their Belfast offices with hybrid remote working options.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with research, senior stakeholders, product managers and engineering teams to co-create ideas, approaches, and solution
  • Create wireframes and mockups to visualize UI design ideas.
  • Build prototypes to communicate user experience designs
  • Understand project requirements, user personas and business processes to inform elegant and functional UI/UX designs.
  • Ensure that designs follow best practices and use research & testing

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years UX Designer experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous UX design work
  • Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving
  • Experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
  • Creative flair and a good eye for design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding skills in professional design tools, such as: Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision.
