Deployment Consultant - Difrent

Purpose of Role

Our new Deployment Consultant will act as an ambassador for the business; you are the front line, connecting Difrent to the UK's top permanent digital talent and ensuring that from the word go, they know that we do things Difrent-ly. You will be expected to engage with high volumes of candidates, guiding them through the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring the utmost care and support along the way.

You will utilise a wide selection of recruitment channels to attract and engage with large volumes of prospective applicants, yet new and innovative methods of recruitment will need to be explored within this role. We expect the team and function to expand over the next 12 months, meaning daily duties will often differ - so we need you to be adaptable and willing to roll your sleeves up! We want a dynamic, hungry go-getter who will face any challenge or task head on!

At Difrent, we work with organisations that really care about the way in which their services are delivered. As a result, you will be tasked with both outcomes-based delivery assignments as well as individual interim requirements. The role is well suited to a proactive, motivated recruiter with an appetite for career progression and the desire to work in a consultancy function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that recruitment and selection procedures and practices meet operational needs, legislative and good practice requirements
  • Make continual improvements to the recruitment process and systems
  • Pro-actively seek out new opportunities and candidates
  • Place advertisements on selected hosts
  • Conduct initial screening of a large volume of Candidates
  • Orchestrate initial telephone interviews
  • Liaise with account managers and external recruiters
  • Work with managers to develop the recruitment process, including interview guidelines
  • Ensure that all job descriptions are in place and remain current and accurate
  • Advertise new vacancies internally and update the Careers webpage
  • Manage the administration of all recruitment records, ensuring that these are complete, accurate and kept up-to-date
  • Conduct exit interviews and complete the leaver process
  • Manage compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR with respect to the storage of, access to and destruction of personal data

Essential experience:

  • Experience gathered within a recruitment agency setting, dealing with the full 360-degree permanent recruitment life cycle
  • Proven track record of good permanent billings with clients across the UK
  • A strong network of permanent digital talent throughout the UK
  • A good understanding of digital technology and including Software Development, DevOps, Architecture, Testing and Agile.
  • Strong ability to build excellent relationships with candidates
  • Proactive self-starter, with demonstrable experience dealing with conflicting priorities and high volumes of candidates
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes
  • Good knowledge of candidates' selection methods
  • Strong understanding of Employer Branding strategies
  • Good understanding of consultancy service offerings
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised; ability to prioritise; attention to detail; a pragmatic approach
  • Energetic, good-humoured, pragmatic - a credible team player
  • Understanding of Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR

Salary: Circa £24000 + Commission + comprehensive benefits package + 24 days holiday + birthday off (and a voucher!) + 2 charity days + pension + healthcare
