Devops Engineer - C# - Fintech (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: up to 100K

An senior Dev Ops engineer is required for a Fintech support services arm of a top asset management firm. This is a spin out from a leading returns manager focusing on a range of asset classes, that has been operating globally for over 15 years. This subsidiary was set up to market their investment services products to the mother company and other selected third party vendors.

As they continue to innovate their product they are looking for ta Dev Ops Engineer to join their development teams. The best candidates will have a depth of experience in the Dev Ops space and comprehensive knowledge of C# - CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Key Skills

  • Strong C#
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices including CICD, automated testing, immutable infrastructure, observability.
  • Experience creating and maintaining production environments in public cloud (ideally AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Strong understanding of architectural/design decisions relevant to cloud-native applications.
  • Proclivity for automation
  • Scripting and automation experience with languages/tools such as:
    • Python
    • Powershell
    • Docker
    • Terraform
    • Bash
    • AWS CloudFormation/Azure Resource Manager/GCP Cloud Deployment Manager


- Financial knowledge across a range of asset classes

- Cloud technologies, specifically AWS

- Scrum and Kanban

- Docker/Kubernetes
