Our client, a global IT services consultancy is currently looking to rapidly increase their Security team. They are now looking for an experienced Incident Response Manager to join them onsite. This role focuses on defence and incident response, investigating the unknown and developing new techniques to increase their detection capability. The role will include use detailed analysis of forensic artifacts and working with their external Incident Response partners.

Responsibilities for the Incident Response Analystwill include (but not limited to):

  • Sourcing, maintain and enhancing a toolset for advanced collection and analysis.
  • Ownership of the Incident Response process, ensuring they can effectively handle incidents across their diverse IT estate, onsite and the cloud.
  • Ownership of the technology stack and processes supporting detection and response; from logging to case management

Skills required for the Incident Response Analystinclude (but are not limited to):

  • Experience of managing and tuning a log management platform
  • Experience of leading Incident Response activities
  • Familiarity with commonly deployed security technologies, such as SIEM, Firewalls etc
  • Demonstrable knowledge of attack groups and their techniques.
