About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Nuclear Facilities Project Delivery Team who are currently managing the final stages of the A19 Readiness programme, and the SRC "Get well" programme.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide an effective quantity surveying function to the SRC Pipeline projects. There are over 100 requirements in the SRC pipeline, with a large proportion requiring Project Delivery. The Nuclear Facilities Project Delivery Team will be expanding over the next few years to enable the delivery of these projects.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need an HNC Construction Industry recognised qualification. MCIOB, MRICS or equivalent preferred.

We would also like you to have some or all of the following:

* At least 5 years' quantity surveying experience
* Nuclear Site Induction
* Excellent Organisational and Time Management skills
* Computer literate

Lastly, you'll need to be able to deploy good interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and logically, both verbally and in writing.

What else do I need to know?

* The role will be based at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth
* The successful candidate must hold or be able to achieve SC Security Clearance.
