About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Security& Information Assurance Manager to join the team working at Devonport Royal Dockyard. As a Security & Information Assurance Manager you'll undertake leadership, management and security function control activities associated with Strategic Infrastructure Business Unit (SIBU) projects.

Using your experience of working on large-scale infrastructure projects, you'll undertake work on a range of facilities, systems and equipment, in support of strategic infrastructure development.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need a Project Management qualification coupled with extensive experience in running transformation programs, leadership and relationship management. You will also need experience in physical security and IA.

We would also like you to have the following:

* Completed or working towards CPNI training Pathway to include:
> Protective Security in the Critical National Infrastructure Operational Requirements, Deter, Detect, Delay, Detain, Surveillance and Verification, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation and Search and Screening.
* Membership and evidence of personal development activity (Security Institute, Nuclear Institute or World Institute of Nuclear Security)
* An understanding of JSP 628
* Knowledge of legislation and the mandated requirements in the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework

Lastly, you'll need to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.

What else do I need to know?

* The work will be carried out at Devonport Royal Dockyard and at SI supply chain premises.
* We are happy to talk about flexible working. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
* The successful candidate will hold or be eligible to acquire the appropriate security clearance level for this position.
