Application Support Analyst required to work with a multi-national Insurance Corporation focussing on the configuration, administration and application support within IRIS (International Reinsurance and Insurance System) and Xuber systems provided by Xchanging as well as the Subscribe system. Experience gained in London Market Insurance environments will be essential

The successful candidate will diagnose production and data issues in conjunction with underwriters, claims and operations staff and recommending, testing and implementing solutions. Supervise key system processes such as bureau message processing, report production and the month end close process and work with external suppliers Xchanging (Xuber, IRIS) and the business to implement fixes to production data.

The Application Support Analyst/Reporting Analyst will also oversee enhancements to systems conducted by the 3rd parties to ensure they meet the needs of the business. Day-to-day technical aspects will include the management of data within SQL Server, MS Excel and MS Access environments, combined with generation of reports and reporting functionality with Qlikview, Cognos and SSRS as well as functionality. Liaison with Underwriters, claims, operations as well as the 3rd party software providers and technical teams will form a major part of this role.

We are searching for an Application Support Analyst/Reporting Analyst who has gained significant experience in the London Market Insurance arena and has played a key role in the oversight of data and reporting within (some or all of the following systems): IRIS, Xuber, Subscribe and has gained additional experience with bureau processes. You will have worked in a similar capacity within the Insurance/Reinsurance field and be a proficient systems support analyst able to configure and support the data within the multiple systems including SQL Server, Excel and Access and be familiar with reporting and data visualisation tools (from): SSRS, Qlikview or Cognos.
