I.T Support Technician, Permanent/Start ASAP, Lincoln, Up to £25k per annum/+ Benefits (Permanent)

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire - Driving Licence Required

Hours of Work: 9am-5:30pm, with some weekend and after-hours work as necessary.

Salary: Up to £25k per annum + Laptop, Phone and Company Car Allowance Benefits

Due to rapid growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Level 2 IT support technician to join a successful IT support and services company based in Lincoln, offering excellent benefits, modern offices and progression. The Technical Support Engineer will be working with a support team of 20+ staff, and will be responsible for Level 2 IT support, covering all aspects of Microsoft products and technologies in support for their customers and internal staff.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar technical Support role previously, who has provided support and assistance for company customers, and support to own internal staff, Identifying and resolving Software issues

  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Servers - Physical server & Microsoft OS Servers - 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019

  • Networking skills - Cisco Routing and Switching, Firewall/Security, WIFI

  • Windows 7-10 Desktop OS

  • Hyper V/Virtualisation

  • O365

  • Exchange

  • Active Directory

  • SCCM

  • Cloud Computing - Azure

Salary/Training/Career Progression:

The company are willing to pay upwards of £25k per annum for the right person with the right experience and skills above. Training is ongoing and will be provided on the job when and where required. Progression is also provided including entry to Level 3/3rd Line roles within the company, as well as potential of gaining Microsoft Accreditations into MCSE & MSCA respectively.
