Resource Manager (Permanent)

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Country: UK Rate: £60k - £65k per annum + + Remote working

Resource Manager, High Wycombe, £60,000 - £65,000

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Resource Manager to join our clients team, based near High Wycombe on a permanent basis. The Resource Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning of multiple concurrent international projects. To achieve this, the Resource Manager will need to cooperate with the Global operations Manager and ensure that all available resources, both monetary and workforce, have been allocated to the relevant projects. Having experience utilising Management Tools, such as Workforce Manager, will be advantageous for the Resource Manager.

The Resource Manager will be responsible for liaising with all levels of our clients business so being a confident communicator is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities for the Resource Manager:

  • Monitor actual and forecasted FTE against budgeted plans, challenge, and investigate/understand any variance to plans.
  • Analyse and report on current and predicted volume of workflow.
  • Work closely with Heads of Departments to identify potential peaks and troughs in volumes or resources to reduce risk and impact to project delivery and costs. Make recommendations on the appropriate course of action.
  • Provide Real Time analysis on actual results against forecast to understand future impact if forecasts are inaccurate. Use actual results to improve performance against key KPIs.
  • Maintain the workforce planning system to keep it running smoothly.
