My global IT services company is looking for four IT Technical support/2nd Line Support Technician/Floor walkers to join their team on customer site in Edinburgh and East Kilbride.

My client is looking for 2 candidates in each of the above locations to sit on-site at Tech Bar alongside the customer's permanent employees and handle technical queries such as:

  • Laptop issues (Candidates need to have a broad background in supporting different laptops brands eg HP, Lenovo, Dell etc.)
  • Mobile phone issues (iOS/Android/Blackberry etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (eg how to merge folders)
  • Skype for Business
  • Data recovery (eg laptop drive crashed)

Candidates need to have excellent communication skills and be customer facing and have previous experience in a face-to-face support role.
