Location: Kingston upon Thames, Surrey Country: UK Rate: £35k per annum

Automation Tester (C# or Python, Selenium)

A Test Analyst with Selenium experience is sought by one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the UK, based in Kingston, Surrey, paying £35,000 + benefits.

With the leading Cloud based product in the UK in their market sector, this software house continues to challenge the status quo, both with their own IT staff and their competitors. The development environment in an API first approach with Microservices and fully integrated DevOps/Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment.

Key responsibilities for the Automation Tester

  • To read and interpret business requirements and design documentation and construct test scenarios
  • Set up and manage the system and user acceptance test environment
  • Provide input on specifications for features during refinement meetings
  • Perform functional and technical tests for new features
  • To ensure project planning estimates related to the test phase are both accurate and delivered to plan

Key skills and attributes for the Automation Tester

  • Experience using Python or C#
  • Good commercial knowledge of using Selenium
  • A good understanding of HTTP or REST APIs
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery is preferred
  • Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate technical issues with other stakeholders
