SAP SD - Support Analyst - (SD module, Support, Manufacturing) (Permanent)

Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: £35k - £43k per annum

SAP Support Analyst/2nd Line Support/Application Support - (SAP, SD Module, Manufacturing and Production, Internal Support)

SAP Support Analyst will provide internal SAP SD support for the organisation at 2nd line level, undertaking analysis, diagnosis and resolution of issues; ensuring SLAs are met, maintaining existing IT processes, and managing customer incidents.

SAP SD Support Analyst/2nd Line Support/Application Support - (SAP, SD Module, Manufacturing, Internal Support)

SAP Support Analyst will provide internal support for the SAP SD module at 2nd line level, undertaking analysis, diagnosis and resolution of issues.

What you will do

  • Provide quality and effective SAP SD internal customer support.
  • Manage customer calls for help/assistance.
  • Maintenance of high quality internal operational/help documentation.
  • Technical training for internal customers at a user level.
  • Help with the documentation of individual unit tests/test plans.
  • Assist with UAT when requested.
  • Carry out periodic configuration and support.


What you will need

  • A minimum of 2 years hands on SAP SD support experience
  • Ideally completed at least 1 full implementation life cycle
  • Experience with interface technologies such as iDOCs.
  • Ability to understand SAP ABAP and debug code.
  • Experience of SAP authorisation management (users and roles).
  • Strong SAP SD functional support with a good knowledge of SD process areas.
  • EDI skills are a desirable but not essential. A general understanding of other SAP modules are a desirable.
  • A self-starter, who is capable of navigating a complex organisational structure.
  • Recommend appropriate SAP solutions whilst analysing and evaluating the impact of current processes/business.
  • A passion for delivering the highest standard of customer support and service.
  • The ability to translate complex terminology to ensure it is audience appropriate.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent level of literacy and numeracy is required.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.

Job Offer

£35,000 - £43,000 (depending on experience) plus generous benefits package
