Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £80k - £100k per annum + Benefits and Bonus

Messaging Specialist - ActiveMQ

Location: City of London
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 basic plus benefits and bonus package
Other: We are able to provide sponsorship and cover relocation costs for this role if required.

A complex, global FinTech organisation based in Central London are searching for a Messaging Specialist to join their growing technology team. You will be responsible for maintaining, tuning and improving the internal messaging bus that is built on Kafka and Active MQ. This role will also involve developing and growing a team, so we need an individual with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm.

We require candidates with the following skill set;

-Experience working in a Linux environment
-Experience working with distributed systems
-Experience setting up and maintaining Kafka and AMQ clusters
-Knowledge of Zookeeper
-Scripting skills using either Ruby or Python
-Experience automating tasks using Puppet and custom written scripts
-Basic Java development skills
-Experience using tools such as Subversion and Git
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Excellent stakeholder management skills
