The Role
The Business Partner - HR (Trainee Services) will report to the Senior Specialist Leads and will be responsible for providing essential support and HR expertise in all aspects of trainee services work. This includes developing expertise across the team for resolving complex pay protection and salary setting cases; providing policy and procedural support to staffing colleagues across different Boards delivering employee relations activity on behalf of the client, and close liaison with payroll teams to ensure the smooth running of all payroll processes.

Key Tasks
These will include but will not be limited to:
First point of contact for staffing colleagues across the Boards for any queries arising as a result of the new arrangements
Supporting the Lead Employer Operational Group
Developing partnership arrangements for people in training
Responsibility for maintenance of the Extranet site
Embed iMatter for all who are in training
You will be a key member of the HR Trainee Services team, working closely with the other HR Business Partners and within strict timeframes whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.

About You
You will bring experience of line management and supervision and be comfortable working and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment.
Previous involvement in working with senior stakeholders to deliver national services, preferably within the healthcare sector, will be beneficial.
Previous experience and robust knowledge of employment processes and employment law is essential, and knowledge of healthcare terms and conditions for medical and dental staff would be an advantage.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills will be required with an ability to analyse data, interpret statistics and write reports.
