Senior SQL Developer - Equities Fund - 750pd (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: up to £750pd

We are looking for an accomplished and technically adept SQL Server Developer to join the operations team within our hedge fund client.

This individual will require no finance exp, but will get the chance to work on the latest BI technologies, develop this skill set and also learn their business terminology.

Technically they will be working primarily in SQL Server, using Excel and Reporting Services, and migrating to PowerBI as the presentation layer. Analysis Services in Tabular mode is a key data source, and learning DAX as a query language will be required for this.

This is a unique chance to join one of the most high level funds in the city and work in one of the most progressive BI teams, furthering your SQL knowledge and getting exposed to the latest BI stacks.

Key Skills:

- High Level SQL Server (2017) and Data Analysis

- Basic grasp of visualisation


- BI Experience - Analysis, Reporting, PowerBI

- Skilled working with complex data sets

- Supported BI Tools such a Tableau and Qlikview
