Senior Software Developer (C#, ASP.NET, API, MVC and Azure) (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £55-60k

A luxury tour operator who are utilising leading edge technology are currently looking to expand their team and need to recruit a Senior Software Developer (C#, ASP.NET, API, MVC and Azure). As a Software Developer (C#, ASP.NET, API, MVC and Azure) you will work in a small team team building, customising and integrating new applications into the company in an agile environment.

As a Senior Software Developer (C#, ASP.NET, API, MVC and Azure) you will be tasked with:

  • Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements
  • Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended
  • Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems
  • Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner
  • Working closely with management.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports.
  • Review and repair Legacy code.
  • Expected to conduct system analysis and development, to keep with changing technologies.
  • Analyse system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior developers.
  • Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
  • Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level.
  • Provide general administrative support to the organisation
  • Research and recommend software tools to management.

From a technical perspective you will be able to demonstrate experience with: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, API's, MVC, SQL, Visual Studio and Azure. This will coupled with solid industry experience of working with cloud based applications.

This is a role with huge career prospects and can really impact the way of working, it's a very autonomous environment and is always working with the latest technology.
