User Researcher (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £500.00 per Day

I'm currently working with a leading Public Sector client who are looking for an experienced User Researcher

Your new company

Are a leading Public Sector organisation who operate in the Heath Sector. They specialise in creating, delivering and managing the crucial digital systems, services, products and standards upon which health and care professionals depend, working in partnership with both national and local organisations. Their vision is to harness the power of information and technology to provide better health and care.

Your new role

The User Researcher role will play a crucial part in the development a product for health professionals that supports navigation of the health and care system. Working autonomously to plan and lead research in a multi-discipline, agile product team, you will influence the product proposition, adopting a user centred approach at all times. Your role will work closely with the product manager and external stakeholders to lead the design, management and execution of user research (qualitative, quantitative, collaborative, online and usability research) with the relevant healthcare professionals.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally, a background/experience working in the healthcare space, or a vested interest in the industry would be advantageous to this role.
  • Flexibility as there will be a requirement to travel to co-locate with a dispersed development team, meet external stakeholders and conduct research studies with different user groups across England.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Product Manager to define appropriate user research activities.
  • Ability to manage expectations and build relationships with key stakeholders along with confidently communicating to clinical users
  • A positive approach, promoting the value of user research and encouraging collaborative research analysis sessions within the project team.
  • Experience of working with agile project management methodologies
