Multi-national insurance company seeks to appoint a Vendor Manager/Compliance Manager to play a key role in the management of the relationships with various IT service providers, software application companies and other IT focussed resource providers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and also the services meet with internal compliance standards and external regulations.

Working within the PMO the successful Vendor Manager/Compliance Manager will work in a Project Management capacity to have oversight of all vendor and compliance related activities across EMEA. You will be responsible for ensuring all commercials are agreed with partners and performance against the agreed SLA is monitored. From an audit perspective, the IT team are involved in a variety of audit and compliance related initiatives and there is a requirement to provide central oversight and support, ensure key actions are agreed and managed to completion, and proactively ensure best practice and learnings are shared across the team. Additionally you will establish and drive performance improvements plans with partners and act as the primary point of contact for all audit and compliance initiatives and maintain a log of IT actions generated from audit activities, managing improvement and resolutions them through to completion.

We are searching for a Vendor Manager/Compliance Manager/Procurement Manager/Compliance Project Manager who has a background in vendor management for an IT function or large delivery programme. You will be versed in Enterprise Application and Infrastructure partner arrangements (such as outsource, 3rd Party consultancies such as IBM or HPe/CSC, AWS, Cisco, Peoplesoft, SAP for example) and be experienced in setting and monitoring SLAs and subsequently addressing performance issues as they arise. You will ideally be PRINCE II Certified and able to apply this Project Management approach within the delivery of your duties, driving improvements by enforcing best practice and standards and sharing knowledge across the various software and infrastructure teams. Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance an advantage but non-essential.
