Responsibilities will include;

*Oversee the development of Active Electrosurgical Medical Device projects.
*Manage and lead a team of technical specialists including Software, Mechanical and Electronics.
*Ensure compliancy of all technical documents.
*Deliver projects to agreed times and costs, including taking ownership of BOM's and costs during development phase.
*Delivery within ISO13485 requirements.

Key Skills;

*Proven track record in leading Medical Device development projects and handover to manufacturing.
*Ability to lead projects to cost and time.
*Previous experience gaining regulatory approval of active electronic and mechanical Medical Devices to achieve CE and FDA approval.
*Strong Engineering background with substantial Electronics and/or Mechanical experience.
*High power RF, SM PSUs, Analogue and Microwave would all be an advantage.
*BS EN 60601-1 (3.1), BS EN 60601-1-2 (4th Edition), ISO 14971, IEX 62366.
*Able to manage external manufacturers, suppliers of components and sub-assemblies.
*Degree qualified in a related engineering discipline preferred.
*Ideally a Chartered Engineer and a member of a professional body.
