-Top opportunity for a Network Engineer (Network Operations Centre) to join one of the UK's leading Cisco Gold Partners.

-The role offers an excellent environment for technical development and progression. The position will require you to be part of the shift rota and will involve 12 hour day/night shifts.

Role

Technical support to customers and staff which may include but not be limited to the following tech

Cisco Unified Communications - CUCM, Unity, Collaboration, UCCX

Security - ASA Firewalls, Checkpoint Firewalls

Routing and Switching

Cloud Solutions

Desktop/Server Solution

Internal

Coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot incoming customer support calls and be responsible for the timely resolution of tickets.

Escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel or 3rd party.

Provide ticket status updates to management and end-users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide telephone support to customers regarding technical queries/faults.

Dial into customer units if possible, in order to diagnose/rectify problem.

To adhere to department and customer SLA's.

Alert Team Supervisor of pending maintenance visits, along with potential escalations prior to Service failure and SLA breech.

Log faults with product manufacturers and 3rd parties where appropriate.

Follow calls through until an acceptable conclusion has been reached - authorization Must be given by the customer or manager prior to closure.

Assist with testing equipment as and when required.

To maintain appropriate documentation for systems and processes (RAS etc).
