Devops Engineer:

Job Description:

Opportunity to join a DevOps team supporting a multi environment platform, with private and public cloud hosting (Azure), IaaS and PaaS components, .Net/PHP/JAVA/HTML, Windows/Linux and a wide variety of applications.

Responsibilities include:

Day to day responsibility will be to create and maintain automated builds, automated deployment of changes and code releases.

Working across teams, following the client's ITIL aligned Change & Release Management processes

Ensure success and appropriate documentation/work instructions, adhering to defined quality checks and appropriate communications prepared.

Developing and automating processes and procedures for Server Optimisation and Management.

Skills & Experience

Familiar with various release methodology and practices

Windows Server, LAMP stack

Azure (IaaS, NSG, SQL PaaS, ServiceBus, CLI/Powershell)

Azure DevOps build and release management

NANT Scripting (.NET IDE)

Working knowledge of MS SQL and MySQL, connections and Scripting.


Appreciation of enterprise architecture principles.

Knowledge of Turnover, GIT, Jenkins

YAML Scripting

Understanding of data privacy and OWASP Secure Development Practices

VMware vSphere and other hypervisor technologies

ITIL Change and Release process
