Salary: Up to £45,000 with double OTE

Able to work from 4 days a week

Business Development Manager needed for Cloud, Network and IT Security for an IT Cloud & Telecom solutions company. You will be supporting clients across the private, public and voluntary sectors by advising on, designing and delivering innovative, managed networking solutions. You will be delivering high- performance, first class services to my client's customers.

What you will be doing:

Using your existing knowledge and experience selling cloud, network and IT-based solutions.

Sales Performance:

  • Lead sales effort on cloud and managed service sales opportunities;Initiate and implement a structured plan to manage sales activity and ensure key targets are achieved;
  • Proactively identify/create opportunities and generate a sales pipeline;Work with the technical consultants and internal support to create customer propositions and close orders
  • Take the lead in proposal generation and driving opportunities forward.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts and information including regular and ad hoc reports as required by management.

Customer Focus:

  • negotiate contracts including bespoke commercial models and terms in association with management and legal department
  • understand the competition and overcome prospect objections.
  • Balance Customer Advocacy with need to ensure business is right for my clients.
  • Be the personal interface for prospects and customers, ensuring strong customer relations and resolving issues of customer dissatisfaction.

Essential Skills

  • Proven, successful track record of a consultative sales approach to selling managed services with emphasis on cloud and hosted services. (VMWare, Veeam, AWS and Azure).
  • Experienced in targeting and acquiring new logo accounts.
    • Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • Strong level of commercial and contractual awareness
    • Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be desirable.
