IS Business Partner (Permanent)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £42k - £49k per annum
 

Our client is looking for an experienced IS Business Partner to join their organisation on a permanent position.

The successful IS Business Partner will perform a specialised technology and service advisory role to business stakeholders, combining substantial technical and business knowledge to guide technical proposals and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a central point of contact for IS advice and service escalation. Follow up and resolve complaints, escalated issues and advice delivery to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with IS service management, infrastructure and corporate applications teams to ensure the technology and solution choices being made by the business align to IT standards and strategy.
  • Participate in IS department planning sessions and projects to ensure appropriate business needs are considered in IS improvements, technology renewals and training availability.

We are looking for you to have:

  • IT service management experience
  • ITIL qualification/experience
  • Building and managing relationships between an ICT service delivery function and diverse senior business stakeholders
  • Developing and overseeing delivery of Guidance material and technology training offerings for support staff and end users
