Junior Java Developer (Spring, eCommerce), London - to £45K + bonus (Permanent)
Location: Central London Country: UK Rate: To £45k Base + Bonus, Full Benefits, Training
 

Java Developer with 2+ years Java development to join market leading agile eCommerce development team in London (near London Bridge)

Fantastic offices, career path, rewarding bonus/incentives and state of the art development tools and methods. You have good commercial Java (core, spring) development experience and a passion for Agile development (Continuous Integration & Delivery, TDD/BDD, Pair programming etc)

You will be doing Java development in a micro-services or service oriented architecture, and will be joining our Agile Java eCommerce development group, developing dynamic, enterprise level applications and integrating with multiple systems using a test driven approach

The role

  • Development of first class E-commerce solutions based on marketing leading Java based E-commerce platforms and consistently high quality software
  • Interaction with customers including business analysts, project managers and fellow developers
  • Paired Programming, Continuous Integration & Delivery
  • Working within the Scrum methodology and our continuous delivery framework

Knowledge

Essential

  • Committed and enthusiastic teammate with ability and confidence to take a leadership role when required
  • 2+ years of experience in Java Spring technologies
  • Must have hands on Coding experience
  • Must have worked on 2-3 Java Spring implementations
  • Good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Strong and clear communication and presentation skills
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic
  • Experience of working on high-volume transactional systems

Work

  • An appreciation of agile development methodologies is required
  • understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Able to work closely in pairs.
