Director (Revenue Analytics) - Hampshire - Up to £90K

A prestigious and leading business located in Hampshire require a Director (Revenue Analytics) to join and compliment an existing analytical function, providing a crucial service aimed around optimizing business operations. You will be responsible for leading a team and school of thought within a Data & Strategy directorate; bringing a relentless curiosity and analytical/forensic mind-set to best understand the 'what & whys' of what drives business revenue.

You will closely analyse business performance to understand business drivers, action these insights into stories and visualizations to influence stakeholders and facilitate strategic business decisions. You will have x2 direct reports as well as a fellow Director of Revenue as fellow resources - with line management responsibilities of the x2 DR's - and the primary objective of ensuring all products/programmes delivered are delivering optimal business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and deliver the strategy of Revenue Management for the brand.
  • Develop, train and mentor a team to drive forward business performance.
  • Accountable for managing demand in order to deliver the optimal net ticketed revenue (NTR) for selected product types.
  • Understand, investigate and articulate business performance for the brand, ensuring appropriate prioritisation.
  • Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with the International and UK teams to drive an optimised global revenue result.
  • Accountable for designing, developing and delivering the net ticketed revenue (NTR) strategies and pricing for selected product types.
  • Influencing key stakeholders and driving through strategic change related to revenue management processes across the organisation.
  • Drive the UK usage of automated revenue management for the brand, in order to achieve business improvements through the evolution of business processes.

Key Experience Required:

  • 4+yrs proven experience of leading and managing a team, building its capability, profile and approach
  • Proven experience in defining, articulating and implementing strategy, assessing process and protocol and creating an environment that embraces change
  • Detailed Datamodelling and scenario planning techniques
  • Experience of devising and implementing strategy and process within teams
  • Working in a commercial/business environment and being able to understand performance drivers
  • Strong Excel experience, use of pivot tables and manipulation of data to suit the need
  • Very strong analytical, statistical and modelling skills, with experience manipulating and making sense' of data from disparate systems.
  • Sound verbal and written skills to effectively interact with people of different levels and functions and to translate complex analysis into everyday language.
  • Experience introducing and implementing new ways of thinking and working - and bringing others along on the journey.
  • A passion and tenacity for finding solutions; the ability to work independently and be self-directed.
  • Excellent time-management, project management and motivational skills
