Harvey Nash is sourcing an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for an brand new opportunity based in Leeds. We have partnered with a market leading, forward thinking organisation who are expanding their workforce, and now looking for likeminded, passionate individuals to join them on their journey.

The right candidate will be excited for the opportunity to create a world-class operations environment and work towards running many services as 2nd line support.

The right candidate must also need:

  • A strong technical background and knowledge in site reliability (Including but not limited to)
    • Linux administration
    • Jenkins
    • Docker/Kubernetes
    • Monitoring and alerting experience
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, as this role requires you to liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A contentious and collaborative approach
  • Strong communication skills and able maintain great enthusiasm throughout.
  • To keep up to date with the latest technologies and understand how these could benefit a business

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing high-quality CI, monitoring/alerting and automation tools
  • Supporting projects to help them implement operational features
  • Producing standards on operational matters and rolling them out
  • Consulting on best practice
