SharePoint Developer - SharePoint 2016, C#, .NET (Permanent)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £40k - £60k per annum

SharePoint Developer - SharePoint 2016, C#, .NET

The person in this role would work closely with the Technology department and other key stakeholders from across the business to understand requirements and develop a number of solutions for internal use. A main focus of the role will be to administer and assist in the further development of the firm's SharePoint 2016 environment, which is currently used for on-line forms, department sites and surveys.


SharePoint Development - to provide expertise in the design and architecture of SharePoint 2016 solutions, including the development of Web Parts and design and customisation of SharePoint sites.
SharePoint Administration - to administer the system, sites and user access; to create and maintain surveys, InfoPath forms and the associated SharePoint workflows; and to respond to user requests and queries relating to all aspects of the SharePoint system.
SharePoint Future - to act as Product Owner, being proactive in the further development and use of the SharePoint system, building a roadmap and business case for any proposed changes, and maintaining a current awareness of the Microsoft roadmap for SharePoint.
Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test and implementation plans for small to complex projects.

Skills & Experience:

In-depth knowledge of the administration, implementation, configuration and customisation of SharePoint 2016.
Solid experience of using the Microsoft development stack is essential, including C#, .NET Framework, Visual Studio, TFS and SQL Server.
Skilled and experienced at creating InfoPath forms, SharePoint workflows and SharePoint surveys.
Proven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications.
Experience working with key business stakeholders to derive functional and technical requirements, and turning these into technical designs and working solutions.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, preferably with experience working in an ISO 27001 accredited development team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving approach.
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Pro-active and accountable.
Works well within a team.
