Testing & Cutover Manager - Migration, Cloud, Transformation, Infra, Planning, Testing, Reporting, EUC, Azure, M365, Windows, Stakeholders, 3rd Parties, Hybrid (2d/w Basingstoke) 6m FTC (Possibly going perm)

This is a fantastic Testing & Cutover Manager Fixed Term Contract opportunity to work with a leading tech organisation on Infrastructure projects.

The Testing & Cutover Manager is Hybrid with 2 days a week in the Basingstoke office.

Initially the Testing & Cutover Manager will be on a Fixed Term (paid monthly the same as permanent) initial 6 month contract which is likely to switch to permanent during or at the end of the initial term

As Testing & Cutover Manager you will be overseeing a range of Infrastructure Migration and Divestment projects including EUC, Cloud, Data Migrations and transformations. As Cutover Test Manager you will scop and plan the Cutover strategy as well as the Testing Strategy and execution. The Cutover Test Manager will plan and test the separation of an area of the business and migrating it to the newly acquired company. On the migration side this will include Cloud, data and day to day EUC & hardware. Tech stack wise its mainly Microsoft, so as Cutover & Testing Manager strong experience of Cutover and Testing of transformation/migration projects in Windows, M365, Azure environments etc are essential. The Cutover & Test Manager will be responsible for the management of and the communication between 3rd parties and the key stakeholders for the current company as well as the new company where the business will be migrating too. Developing Test Strategy, test plans and cases as well as leading defect management are all responsibilities of the Testing & Cutover Manager as well as associated deliverables and SLAs. The Testing & Cutover Manager is responsible for communicating with all business tech can PMO teams both internal, 3rd party and new company so excellent communication is essential. As Cutover & Testing Manager some sort of project management and/or testing certifications (PMP, Prince 2, ISTQB, etc) and ITIL knowledge is required.
