Business Analyst - Investment Fund Specialist

An experienced contractor is required by a Life & Pensions insurance business to act as an SME on a Fund Migration project as part of a broader transformation programme.

Based in Greater London, this well-known international Insurance business have embarked on a wide-ranging programme of work designed to make them a more customer-focused business across a range of financial services offerings. It includes a strategic overhaul of their platforms and systems, migration onto a new Wealth and Annuities platform, various infrastructure streams, and simplifying the architecture supporting the Investment business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Represent the workstream in key groups and meetings
  • Work with business analysts, IT, architecture team
  • Identify risks and issues, providing solutions where appropriate
  • Be the go-to individual in fund migration and investment wrapper questions


  • Must have hands on experience in fund/investment wrapper migration
  • Very strong knowledge and understanding of the investment structures and instruments
  • ETFs, SICAVs, ICAVs, OEICs, Mutual funds, Fund of funds
  • Underlying instruments underpinning Equities, Fixed Income, FX, hedging structure
  • In-depth understanding of technology architecture
  • Detailed knowledge on Custody process
