Summary of Department Focus:
Provide Quality Engineering and Assurance services to client from various business domains. The aim is to provide best in class end to end service to help clients deliver quality product/processes for their customers.

Summary of Job Purpose:
Provide the business with a professional and consistent test service designed to effectively prove that change is fit for purpose and meets agreed and documented business requirements.

• Building Automation framework
• Automation Test Scripting
• Automation Test Execution and Maintenance
• Test Closures including/Automation handover
• MI Reports (Weekly & Daily)

Job Requirements:

Key Competencies:

• Excellent automation testing experience in Selenium using PHP.
• Excellent background in software development life cycle and foundational concepts of testing.
• Experienced in using test management tools, preferably HP Quality Centre/TFS.
• Should have experience in Agile Methodologies
• Experience in creating/maintaining phpscripts for web portals
• Experience in writing UI tests using Selenium
• Experience in writing unit tests with phpUnit
• Experience in Behat framework and writing BDD scripts
• Very strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, verbal/written communication skills, presentation skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of Automation Test plan/Strategy
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong Relationship and team building skills.
• Strong at multi-tasking and prioritizing activities to meet the project needs.
• Very proactive in calling out risks/issues along with mitigation/contingency options to project management
• Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group/project meetings.
• Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyse various required project documents

Knowledge:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in testing industry
• Strong experience in Automation Testing using Selenium
• Excellent experience in coordinating team members who may not be co-located.
• Experience in creating automation framework, Automation feasibility report, Automation test plan
• Expertise in Smoke, Sanity, System, Functional, Regression and End to End Integration testing
• Very good hands-on experience in
• Test Strategy/Plan creation
• Test Estimation and Planning skills
• Test Design, Execution and Defects reporting
• Status Reporting of the Testing progress
• Managing ARIaD (Assumptions, Risks, Issues & Dependencies)
• Testing Methodology (Exposure to Waterfall, V-Model and Agile/Iterative)
• Insurance experience would be added advantage

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any equivalent discipline (Graduate)

ISTQB Certification or any other equivalent certification is preferable
