Microsoft New Business Development Manager (Mid Market) - Microsoft Solutions - North England - c£50K-£60K basis plus car allowance, bonus of c50% of base and benefits

The role

Responsible for achieving agreed New Business Sales revenue and margin targets in to the SME marketplace. Leverage personal customer contacts, business networks and relationships to recruit new customers into the business. In addition sales leads will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A track record in selling IT services particularly Microsoft and other cloud solutions- Office365, and other cloud based services.
  • Have a Solution-sales mentality
  • An ability to present to high level decision makers in various industry sectors
  • An understanding of the sales cycle including an ability to identify and develop prospects, handle objections, prepare and present proposals and solutions documents and close the sale.
  • Work closely with existing and new business customers to deliver solutions that meet their business and technical requirements
  • Preferably have Microsoft/IT/Cloud sales accreditation's already gained
  • Hands on individual, self-starter
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Good technical level knowledge of cloud, and telephony services
  • Excellent new business telephone sales skills including cold calling
  • Able to operate with a high degree of independence within agreed policies, targets and budgets

Qualifications/Relevant Experience:

  • 3 years+ consultative approach
  • Microsoft Skype, O365, Teams, Azure, and modern workplace solutions
  • 3 years+ new business direct sales background - proven sales ability including: Commercial acumen, relationship building and management, consultative selling into new business customers
  • 3 years + new business direct Sales experience
  • 3 years + experience of Selling: Cloud Services
