Bid manager - Newcastle - telecoms/software or WiFi.

And with such a dynamic product, solution and sales portfolio. We are in the need to welcome a Bid Manager into the pre and post sales estate. Being responsible for leading and assisting in project managing bids and to gain full understanding of bid requirements to produce the required deliverables.

Job description:

  • Lead and assist in project managing large complex bids to tight deadlines gaining a full understanding of bid requirements;
  • To liaise appropriately with tendering organisations; effectively manage responsibility for submission contribution.
  • To drive the bid development process through the analysis of the bid/no bid criteria; manage quality and commercial aspects of bid inputs; preparation of the bid documentation, writing & capture planning and satisfactory completion of proposals; lead proof-reading, design, layout, formatting and editing of documents; and ensure appropriate interaction with process and requirements in accordance with our clients corporate governance.
  • To work with the Sales and Business Development Teams to identify viable bidding opportunities in line with strategic goals and to support the consistency of strategy within the bid development process.
  • Define bid schedule and monitor progress;
  • Collate inputs from across the bid team (virtual bid teams included);
  • Compile monthly Bid Management reports.
  • Prepare and produce high quality documents;
  • Liaise with support functions to ensure risks, liabilities and cost drivers are identified;
  • Proof read various inputs to bids and ensure sales collateral material, boilerplate and templates are current;
  • Format final bid documents for production;
  • Managing a risk register for each bid;
  • Lead with the completion of pre-qualification documents for PQQ;
  • Ensure all submitted bid information, documents and bid history is stored within Nomad systems;
  • General administration as required;
  • Client interaction to determine requirements and support bid presentations.
