Senior Software Engineer - Embedded C - microcontrollers - schematic - Electronics.

They specialise in Product design and development in areas such as Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Software, Medical, Scientific, Commercial and Industrial Design. Responsible for numerous contributions globally my client has been ranked the number one consultancy for a number of years.

The Skills Required

  • Software development experience within a safety critical environment ideally.
  • Experience in Architecting/designing software solutions
  • Experience in delivering software as part of the project team
  • Ability to review and validate code of software engineering to ensure quality of software releases and documentation in safety critical environment
  • Knowledge of
    • Software life cycle management
    • Change management, verification and validation
    • Risk management
    • Quality management systems.
  • Working experience in a lead role, heading a project's software team, ideally within a multidisciplinary product development programme.
  • Strong stakeholder management - both internally and externally
  • Team player with ability to communicate and mentor peers, liaise with mechanical and electronic engineers in relation to software development
  • Developing Real Time software in C for Embedded microcontrollers.
  • Ability to read schematics/understanding of electronics engineering
  • A degree in a relevant subject from a well-established university, or an equivalent qualification.
