Senior Cloud Solutions Developer- Hybrid working- Dublin Base (Contract)
Location: Dublin Country: Ireland Rate: Euros 450-Euros 550
 

Job Title- Senior Cloud Solutions Developer

Location- Dublin. (Remote) You will be required to be onsite in Dublin minimum 2-3 days per month.

Duration- 6 months (+possible extensions)

Rate- up to 550 Euro/day

Interview process- 2 rounds

Role Description:

Senior Cloud Solutions Developer to help lead the creation of a technology framework and provide technical leadership in support of initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on the design of systems and services that run on cloud platforms. The person will have a strong development background and experience in building large-scale n-tier systems. They must have experience working in an Agile Continuous Integration environment.

Responsibilities/Key Strengths/Essential Skills required:

1. 7+ years of Java programming experience.
2. Experience in leading the development of complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, Service-oriented architectures (SOA), and relational databases.
3. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
4. Experience with Java, Spring framework, and Spring Boot.
5. Experience in Containerisation - Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
6. Experience with cloud platforms, Azure, AWS, or others.
7. Demonstrate experience working in a test-driven environment with continuous integration pipelines managing the orchestration of feature and regression test packaging & execution.
8. Demonstrate hands-on experience in testing code quality & metric production & the implementation of quality gates
9. Highly proficient in Java Full Stack Technologies. Track record of delivering high-quality, complex technical solutions
10. Networking & Communication Protocols - DNS, TCPIP, UDP, HTTP HTTPS, SSL, FTP, SCP, SOAP & REST
11. Languages Java 8, MS SQL, C#, Powershell & Bash
12. Knowledge of Testing Frameworks & Tooling, BDD, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, JQuery, Selenium
13. Experience in Containerisation - Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
14. Knowledge of insurance or financial services industry applications and functionality.
15. Fluent in English - written and verbal
