Job Details

 

Network Engineer (Contract)

Location: Dublin Country: Ireland Rate: 350 - 400 per day
 

This position involves collaborating with a regional/global team, and therefore, short business trips that last up to one week may be necessary. The role encompasses both Dev and Ops, including participation in an on-call rotation. (MUST BE BASED IN DUBLIN)

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute changes on the client network.

Lead network projects relating to network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, application of best practices, and network optimization.

Troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, performance, and configuration issues.

Preserve standards within the networking toolset, ensuring full compliance with those standards and policies.

Provide solutions and processes that are simple, long-lasting, and can be replicated.

What we are looking for:

Experience in working with VPN solutions in general and good IPSEC knowledge

Thorough understanding of TCP/IP Networking, IP routing and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, ACLs, IPSEC, DNS, etc.

Any skills related to automation/software development/programming are a welcomed, but not mandatory

Experience in working with Cloud or Network Fabric technologies (VXLAN, Fabricpath) are a bonus
