AS400 Engineer (Contract)

Job Title: AS400 Engineer

Position type: 6 - 12 Months of contract

Location: Utrecht, The Netherlands

Dutch speaking is mandatory

Description of project:

Migrate codes from AS400 to GCP. It will be converting Cobol code to Java. In GCP, the Back End will run on NodeJS. DB2 at AS400 will be migrated to DB2@GCP.

  • Strong experience with Systems programming on the IBM AS400.
  • Three (3) years of experience the following areas:

- Installing upgrades to the AS400 Operating System.

- Developing, coding, testing, and implementing programs that relate to IBM iSeries System Administration.

- Proficiency in AS400 CL, SQL, and Cobol.

  • Experience with application Modernization to:

- Java

- DB2@AS400 to DB2@Cloud

- Spring

- NodeJS

- WebTechnologies
