Senior Technical Specialist (Contract/Permanent)
Location: Amsterdam Country: Netherlands
 

For one of the Top Banks in the Netherlands, we are currently seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to participate in projects from an Anvil perspective. Looking for someone with extensive IT & business knowledge in the area of developing & supporting solutions for Securities lending and Borrowing trading. You will act as a subject matter expert for both IT and business stakeholders, being responsible for the bug free delivery of software solutions that add value to the business.

General knowledge/experience

  • An Anvil perspective (new functionality, complex upgrades and roll-outs to new branches). Focus for projects is to do customer/system requirements, solution analysis, effort estimation, solution development and testing;
  • 3rd line (L3) support for Anvil related issues/problems;
  • System health checks to proactively ensure high performance and system stability.

Technical knowledge/experience (order by importance)

  1. ION Trading Anvil including typical components for repo and securities lending/borrowing trading;
  2. Basic ION Trading ION Bus and MarketView knowledge;
  3. Linux/Unix basic knowledge.

Competences (order by importance)

  1. Persons needs to be up to date with latest techniques;
  2. Communicate with high demanding customers like FO traders;
  3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
  4. Pro-active and good communicator;
