Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing scripts and reports to facilitate planning, reporting and analysis.
- Utilizing Jira and Confluence, the Analyst will play a key role in enhancing our planning and reporting processes for the company; ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project milestones, and supporting the decision-making process.
- This role requires a blend of technical prowess, analytical thinking, and project management acumen.
- Script Development: Develop and maintain scripts to automate data extraction, manipulation, and analysis in Jira and Confluence.
- Report Generation: Create regular and ad-hoc reports to support project planning, tracking, and analysis. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze project data to identify trends, forecast project outcomes, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in project reporting and analysis processes, leveraging Jira and Confluence capabilities.
- Stakeholder Support: Work closely with project managers, team leads, and other stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis needs. Provide training and support on using Jira and Confluence for project management.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for scripts and reports, ensuring they can be understood and utilized by other team members
Skills:- Strong skills in Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, including their APIs for integration and automation purposes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets to derive meaningful insights. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
- Project Management: Understanding of project management principles and experience in using project management software
- Agile ways of working: working in a complex environment involving a lot of prototyping
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and offer solutions to improve project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on Scripting, data analysis, and project reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira and Confluence, including customization and automation capabilities.
- Experience in developing scripts for automating tasks and reports.
- Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
- Certification in project management or relevant technical certifications (eg, PMP, CAPM, PMBOK, or Atlassian Certified Professional) is a plus.
- Preferably familiar with Atlassian Tools - we need someone that can work in Amsterdam office at least 3 days a week
