Java Developer - Finance Industry - Amsterdam - €560pd (inside IR35)
1 day per week in office
My global market leader in the banking sector is looking for a Java Developer to join them on an initial 6 month contract
You will be working on a major new product with the strong possibility of this being a long-term contract
As well as experience in the banking/financial sector your skill set will include:
* Demonstrable experience with Back End software development (Java, Spring, Maven, Sonar, Cassandra, Oracle).
* Experience and thorough understanding of test automation, coding best practices, continuous delivery, deployment tools and pipelines.
* Git, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Docker, OpenShift.
* Experience with design patterns and different programming paradigms (OOP vs FP).
* Experience with system architecture and design.
* Test driven development.
* Containerized development eg Kubernetes monitoring & DevOps.
* Any experience as a Lead Developer is beneficial.
* Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus.
* First class communication skills.
* Fluent English speaking and writing.
