My client is looking for a SAP Security/Authorizations & GRC Consultant for a remote working implementation project in Europe.

The right candidate will have at least 6+ years Security/Authorizations experience with at least 1+ full implementation projects' experience doing blue print design, implementation, customization, configuration and post Go Live support of the SAP Security/Authorizations module(s).

Candidates should have particular experience in implementation roll outs, data migration and strong configuration experience.

Job Summary:

As an SAP Security|Authorizations and GRC Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our client's SAP security landscape. You will be responsible for defining and managing SAP authorization roles and maintaining our GRC processes to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the contact for clients' support requests, inquiries, and issues in SAP Authorizations.
• Analyze and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Communicate with clients to gather detailed information about their support needs and provide regular updates on the status of their requests.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining authorizations/security solutions for SAP systems (eg ERP, EP, BW, HANA, GRC) for at least 6 years Full time (incl. minimum four years' experience in SAP Authorizations)
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP authorization roles and profiles in accordance with best practices for changes or mini projects.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables (documentation, presentation, research).
• Good understanding of Industry's Best Practices and SAP Audit Guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective authorization solutions.
• Perform role and user access reviews to ensure adherence to security policies and compliance standards.
• Monitor and analyze SAP security logs to identify and mitigate security risks and violations.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to support compliance assessments and audits.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP security trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
• Good team player, responsible and conscientious.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving authorization-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAP security and authorizations.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including role design, authorization objects, and user provisioning.
• Strong expertise in SAP GRC solutions.
• Experience with SAP security tools and utilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certifications in security or GRC are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote Work (Maybe travel occasionally for key project meetings/phase)

Duration: 8months + (w/possible extension)
