Senior Software Engineer - Elixir (Permanent)
Location: Portugal Rate: EUR55k - EUR90k per annum
 

We're delighted to have partnered with a disruptive and fast-growing industry leader revolutionising their field within the finance sector.

The organisation have transformed the market by designing an advanced and forward-thinking financial management solution platform centred around employee compensation and benefits.

They are seeking an experienced Senioe Software Engineer, primarily on the Backend side with a keen interest in Elixir to join their growing development team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within their product, engineering and design teams, defining both long-term strategy and short-term roadmaps. Mainly though, you will have the opportunity to build and develop awesome product features integrated within the codebase.

The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of building Back End systems.
  • Proficiency in Elixir.
  • Must have experience in at least one other language (Golang/.Net/React etc).
  • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Solid experience in cloud-based development (AWS).
  • Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration.
  • DDD (Domain-Driven Design) & TDD (Test-Driven Development).
  • Having a product development mindset is essential.
  • You have a drive to solve problems, are a team player & love to learn.

Permanent/Full-Time Employment.
