Scrum Master/Data Platform Delivery Lead

Our client is in search of a dynamic Scrum Master/Data Platform Delivery Lead with a solid technical background to drive the evolution and expansion of our data platforms.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and roadmap of our data platforms, ensuring they not only meet but exceed user expectations while aligning with our strategic objectives.

As the Scrum Master/Data Platform Manager, you will oversee the entire life cycle of the client's data platforms, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve excellence.

Data Platform Vision and Strategy:

  • Develop a compelling vision for our data platforms aligned with our company's data strategy and business goals.
  • Create a detailed roadmap for enhancing our data platforms, leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and Microsoft Data Warehouse.
  • Stay updated on emerging data technologies and industry trends to guide platform development.

Data Platform Development and Delivery:

  • Lead the prioritization and planning of data platform features and projects.
  • Evaluate proposed features for alignment with platform strategy and potential business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to define platform requirements and design patterns.

Data Platform Architecture and Operations:

  • Demonstrate expertise in data platform architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and security.
  • Implement automation and operational processes to enhance platform efficiency and reliability.
  • Define and enforce platform standards and best practices across different technologies.

Business and Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate platform vision, roadmap, and progress effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Represent the platform team in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform development decisions and address market needs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating success in platform development and governance.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results.
  • Expertise in data platform architecture, scalability, optimization, and security.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
