Join us as a Methods Manager and you'll be looking
at a career-defining role based in Plattsburgh, NY.

As a Methods Manager, you will be responsible for organizing
Methods activities to support manufacturing with adequate technical
documentation and ongoing support. The incumbent will encourage design for manufacturing
and standardization, and lead KPI based performance measurements and
improvements, especially in Productivity, Built-in Quality, Standardization and
Responsiveness. In addition, they will ensure that build documentation is
available for all projects, and efficiently managed and version controlled.
They will also provide responsive support to manufacturing and ensure budget
and cost reduction targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:

-
Develop
schedules for Methods activities required to meet production needs on time, in
full and with quality.

-
Manage
all Technical and administrative aspects within Methods for a given product
line.

-
Manage
operational budget and KPIs to effectively measure and improve Methods
performance.

-
Ensure
all required build documentation is produced in line with project timescales
and reflects current manufacturing practice in a user-friendly format.

-
Ensure
manufacturing BoMs (BoEs) are produced within the pre-defined timescales.

-
Supervise
change management process, making sure that all technical changes are coordinated
and sufficiently documented.

-
Conduct short
and midterm scoping, planning and follow-up of Methods staff activities,
forward looking resource planning and competency management.

-
Develop,
train and mentor employees.

-
Follow-up
on status of all contract related Methods tasks, initiate and track
countermeasures or corrective actions when necessary.

-
Closely
liaise with the Project(s) Engineering team to ensure that engineering data is
available in a timely and user-friendly manner. Drive deployment of DFMA and
3P.

-
Develop
bid submittals for new projects.

-
Support
the continuous improvement of the bid and production management processes and
implement initiatives to reduce vehicle repair/overhaul costs and improve
product safety, quality and reliability.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-
Associate's degree with 8+ years of experience with in Engineering (Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Tool Design, or Methods).

-
5+ years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

-
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Project Management field.

-
Experience with SAP.

-
Experience with lean manufacturing.

-
Six Sigma Certified.
