Senior Sales Executive (Full Time)

Location: San Francisco California Country: United States of America Rate: 130k base salary + commission
 

Company is a fast-growing provider of cloud-based data and applications for the commercial real estate industry and corporations leasing real estate and is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join their team in their San Francisco office. The company has strong professional growth potential, competitive compensation and industry-leading employee benefits. The Senior Sales Executive will help drive growth by achieving license and service revenue goals with large private companies and in the Fortune 1000 market. To achieve objectives the Senior Sales Executive will create and execute a territory business plan with the help of the Western Region Director of Sales. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities, meeting with potential customers, gather ing requirements, sell ing and differentiat ing the value of company's software and services. The ideal candidate will also manage and upsell existing customers and work with partners like PwC, RGP, Deloitte, BDO and EY to co-sell and develop new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a detailed business plan to manage and grow revenue opportunities from within your territory and with new prospects within your territory. Prospect, qualify, present and call on executives from multiple customer departments (ie - Corporate Real Estate, Lease Administration, Lease Accounting, Finance, etc.).

  • Understand the value of company's software products and competitive offerings and articulate features, benefits and differentiation to Fortune 1000 decision makers.

  • Gain command of company's products for the new Lease Accounting standards and sell those solutions to Fortune 1000 customers accounting and finance departments.

  • Leverage field and corporate resources to manage complex transactions.

  • Execute a traditional solution selling process that involves a cross-functional team and multiple customer constituents in decision making and influencing a solution decision.

  • Prospect and sell new customer opportunities.

  • Manage and upsell existing customers new modules and growth.

  • Work with service provider customers and alliance partners to cultivate new opportunities.

  • Manage the close process including the final contracts process in conjunction with contracts management and sales management.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of proven, successful software sales experience

  • Solution selling experience, combining complex sales, SaaS software solutions and professional services

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills; competence with facilitating web-based presentations/demonstrations and driving RFP responses

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 companies and senior decision makers

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to propose solutions to decision makers

  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate market a plus

  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and familiarity with accounting and ERP systems is a plus

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficiency with salesforce.com is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree
