DevOps Engineer (Full Time)

Location: Norcross Georgia Country: United States of America Rate: DOE

DevOps Engineer

Awesome opportunity to join a rapidly growing company as a DevOps Engineer.

You will be responsible for daily builds and deployment processes, own and drive improvements to build and release (scripts, tools, and processes), define and implement best practices for configuration management, continuous integration, automated testing and release management, assist with design and planning for all future products and services, collaborate with peers on work estimation/planning and implementation of new versions/features of tools, research and recommend technology, implement and own the CI/CD pipeline, implement and maintain monitoring and alerting, build and maintain highly available production systems, provide Tier 2/3 technical support, build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience, perform root cause analysis for production errors and resolve technical issues, and develop scripts to automate visualization.

You will spend approximately 25% of your time on automation, 25% on deployments & build, 25% on monitoring & remediation, and 25% on support.

Our technology stack includes AWS, Linux, React, JavaScript, Ionic, React Native, Node.js, KoaJS GraphQL, Sequelize, Typescript, SSR React, Redux, Twilio, Vidyo SDK, and MySQL

This is a direct hire position based in Norcross. We offer flexible hours. The 1st 6 months you will need to be in the office and after that will have telecommuting options.   • 3+ year of DevOps experience
  • Strong Scripting experience
  • Strong Linux experience
  • Configuration Management tools (prefer Chef, Ansible, and Puppet
  • Build tools (prefer Gradle or Maven)
  • SQL (prefer NoSQL)
  • Monitoring tools (prefer Nagios)
  • Docker or Kubernetes
  • Jenkins and CI/CD
  • Bug tracking and collaboration tools (prefer Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence)
  • Automation testing experience (can be light/exposure)
  • Collaborative personality
  • Very good communication skills
