Join us as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be
looking at a career-defining role based in San Francisco, California.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible
for supervising subcontractors and coordinating installation and testing
activities at a Service Delivery Center to successfully install and test a new
train control system and central control upgrade. In addition, the incumbent
will ensure the installed system meets the customer contract requirements and
Bombardier policies and procedures.

*This is a fixed term position ending June 2021.


- Manage
and direct the electrical subcontractor's work for electrical installation of
the extension to the AirTrain.
- Exhibit extensive
knowledge in fiber optic networks, traction power, wireless communications,
electrical systems and electronics.
- Plan access to the
installation site for subcontractor work coordinating with main contractor.
- Create site specific
work plans to communicate installation activities to the larger team, customer
and operator.
- Perform and complete
the required BTH test procedures with the subcontractors on installed work and
resolve any discrepancy.
- Arrange BTH personnel
access to perform and implement the BTH System Acceptance plan after installed
works are complete.
- Actively support the
Safety Committee and all HSE initiatives.
- Hold daily site
briefings with subcontracts to ensure full understanding of activities and
zones being worked.
- Available
for day and night shifts.
- Exhibit excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.


Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree in Electrical
Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics or related.

2+ years of experience
supervising contractors/employees conducting electrical installations on high
voltage lines from substations to end components in the transit industry.
