Institutional Effectiveness Technician (Full Time)

Location: New Richmond, WI Country: United States of America Rate: $16.67/hour

This position will be scheduled 1950 hours per year and will report to the Institutional Research Analyst and provide direct support for the day-to-day functions for the Institutional Effectiveness Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model core abilities that reflect WITC's mission, vision, values and Learning College tenets
  • Assist the Institutional Research Analyst with completion of federal surveys (eg IPEDS, NPSAS)
  • Complete external surveys (eg NCCBP, College Board, Petersons, AIDU, NC-Sara)
  • Complete internal reporting (eg enrollment funnel, program data profiles, county reports, needs assessment, occupational outlook, environmental scanning, fact book, facility inventory, ad hoc data requests) requiring advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Provide support to WILM BI team
  • Create survey reports (executive summary and dashboards)
  • Assist with administration of third-party surveys (eg CESS, CCSSE, SSI)
  • Maintain and monitor Institutional Effectiveness records and reporting through specialized applications: Business Intelligence software, student information system, client relationship manager, document repository, and learning management systems
  • Edit and proofread Institutional Effectiveness documents to include: grants and research publications
  • Communicate Institutional Effectiveness information to internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with investigating and gathering information relevant to Institutional Effectiveness projects
  • Develop and update Institutional Effectiveness process and procedure documentation
  • Design, develop and update forms and publications for the division
  • Coordinate events and meetings for the Institutional Effectiveness division
  • Provide detailed technical and functional information/support regarding Institutional Effectiveness functions and refer when appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years related post-secondary education/training or five years related experience, or a combination of related education and work experience totaling five years.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty and staff.
