Based in Los Angeles, California you will report to the General Manager. You will have the principal responsibility for leading, managing and coordinating Contractor's performance for Business Administration functions; principally developing and administering the annual and on call budgets.

In your role you will:

- Ensure that all required reports and notifications are accurately and timely submitted, and any invoice or report variances or discrepancies timely resolved;

- Lead the effort to provide any Work Directive Proposals including supporting scope, schedule and cost estimates are submitted to the Authority when requested;

- Work with public agencies preferably commuter railroads that are subject local, state and federal funding requirements and regulations and must be able to manage budgets and deliver superior service under budgetary constraints.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in, Business Administration, Accounting, Transportation, Engineering, Construction, or related field;
- You have 10 years of broad and deep, progressively responsible Contractor experience covering most facets of business administration, budgeting, invoicing, reporting, cost containment for a public agency client preferably commuter railroad;
- You have knowledge of FTA, FRA and other State and local regulations and practices related to the contracted operations, maintenance and capital work;
- You have proven Management Experience and Skills assisting in the management of subcontract, supplier, vendor contracts to achieve best value, favorable life cycles, high quality products and services in a timely manner.
- You have prior experience that demonstrates accomplishments that enhanced efficiency, accuracy, reliability, timeliness, streamlining of business administration processes for a Contractor to a public agency preferably a commuter railroad.
