Resource 1 is in need of an Angular Web Developer for a remote, 1-year+ contract position in Fort Worth, TX. While this position is remote, selected candidate will be expected to attend monthly meetings onsite in Fort Worth, so individual should be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Individual should have at least 5 years of full-stack web application development, including design, analysis, coding and testing. Individual will join a team of developers responsible for the development of new and enhancement of existing web applications. Selected candidate will be responsible for the development of user interfaces using Angular 6/7, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON & XML. Ideally, candidate would have experience using the later versions of Angular, but would need Angular 2 at a minimum. This is a large-scale modernization project, moving to Angular 6 and .NET Core. Many of the older applications were developed in ASP.NET. Prior familiarity with MVC design pattern is a plus for this position. This is a great opportunity for a Web Developer to gain experience with the latest version of Angular (6.0/7.0) and get some exposure to .NET Core. Individual should have solid experience building web applications using Angular and preferably some experience with or knowledge of MVC. Individual should also understand how to use JSON to move data between the client (Angular) and server (ASP.NET). Prior experience with RESTful API development is also a plus for this position. Candidate will need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to interpret detailed technical specifications.
